The Noonday Lodge, on lovely Horse Pointe, is an seven-year old, custom-designed home that is bright and spacious. It is the perfect retreat for family and friends any time of the year. This wooded, waterfront property on Lake Blue Ridge has spectacular lake and mountain views, a boat dock, and a furnished gazebo with a fire pit, perfect for late night s’mores. The main level of the house offers a fully equipped designer kitchen with Kitchen Aid appliances. The dining area opens up to a covered deck where there is a Weber gas grill. The living room has a large leather sectional couch, two swivel chairs, a lovely floor-to-ceiling stone fireplace and a 65” television. This room opens up to a covered deck with another fireplace and comfortable outdoor seating. The main floor has two bedrooms; the master suite, complete with a large walk-in closet and a double-sink bathroom with a stone cascading shower, and the second bedroom is a king bedroom, but can be converted to two twin beds. This room also has a full bathroom. The full-size laundry machines are located on the main floor. The terrace level sleeps up to 8 people, big and small! There is a family suite that offers two bedrooms; a king room and a connecting room with two twin beds and a double futon, and a full bathroom. Another king bedroom, with the best views of the lake, shares a full bathroom with the children’s bedroom, which two twin beds. The bar includes a foosball and a shuffleboard table. The family room has two overstuffed comfy chairs, a full-size couch and a 65” television. The Lodge has ceiling fans throughout the house, WIFI and Direct TV. There are beach towels, water floats, and some children’s toys available for your use. The boat dock is available to you if you choose to rent a boat or bring your own. Boating on Lake Blue Ridge is a fabulous treat; you can take in the breathtaking houses on the lake, take a turn on the rope swing, try to catch “the big one,” and go tubing. Lunch or dinner at the Marina Bar and Grill should be on your to do list as well! The Noonday Lodge is a four-mile drive to Downtown Blue Ridge, offering countless upscale shops and restaurants, art galleries, wine bars, breweries, and all the vacation activities you desire…whitewater rafting, kayaking, hiking, mountain biking trails, horseback riding, zip-lining, and even a train ride on the Blue Ridge Scenic Railway! This is great! I'm so glad we came!! That's what you'll say out loud when you drive up to this fantastic mountain get-away on Lake Blue Ridge in the North Georgia Mountains. Walk thru the front door thru the slate floor entrance. Step inside the great room with vaulted pine ceilings and drop ceiling fans. Gaze around the large gathering room with the Tennessee Fieldstone dry stacked fireplace, cozy seating including pull out Queen sleeper sofa, farm style dining table and chairs for 6 to 8, game tables, and large fully equipped kitchen with serving bar. Two wide sliding glass doors frame a breathtaking view of the lake. Step out on the generous Kentucky wrap around deck, feel the mountain breezes and drink in the expansive view of Lake Blue Ridge from this terrific vacation spot. Sip some iced tea while rocking on the porch or relaxing in the hammock. Enjoy mealtimes outside as well seating 12 or more. Returning inside, the two downstairs bedrooms (one with king bed, the other with 2 twin beds) have sliding doors accessing the expansive porch overlooking the lake. Both share a generous bathroom. Upstairs you will find the master suite with King bed and lots of floor space. A beautiful lake front cabin with your own private dock! New to the rental market for 2021 is our lakefront two bedroom and one bathroom cabin with large deck which includes a covered bar area. Landscape lighting was recently installed to light up the property at night and create romantic moments. You will have your own private dock with a slide for the kids to enjoy. On the lake shore is a fire pit perfect for roasting marshmallows, smores or just enjoying family time! Our home is complete with all new furnishings for 2021 which includes electric reclining couch and love seat and a super comfortable glider-rocker! Our kitchen ware is all new as well and includes a combination Keurig single serve and drip coffee maker for those early morning quiet times on the deck. The full bath is all new with beautiful new clean tile and Brizo fixtures! The Lake levels are managed by TVA throughout the year. We usually have water in our cove from Mid-April through August and sometimes a few weeks into September. When we do not have water in the cove you can still have a lake view and can access the lake from the shoreline. You can easily check lake levels via the TVA website for Blue Ridge Lake. Our cabin is a family rental on a quiet cove. Please be aware that this is not a party house and the neighbors will not tolerate parties and loud music.

The back of the cabin has a large screened in porch which looks out into the Chattahoochee National Forest. You can also enjoy the fire pit or use of gas and charcoal grills. Our cabin is located close to a wide range of activities. Renew your spirit on a day hike to local waterfalls or horseback riding on forested trails in the Chattahoochee National Forest. Pick strawberries or blueberries at Mercier Orchards, a 65 year old family orchard. Catch a trout on the tail waters of the Toccoa River or a clear mountain stream; Blue Ridge is the Trout Fishing Capital of Georgia. The lake is home to bass, bream, catfish, perch and crappie, which make the area popular with anglers. It is the only lake south of the Great Lakes where Walleye are caught, and is also known for small-mouth bass fishing. Pontoons and jet skis are available for rent at the Lake Blue Ridge Marina, on old U.S. 76. The marina has a boat ramp, fishing, boating supplies and boat storage. Although On Lake Time is a fantastic place in the spring and summer months, the fall offers beautiful fall colors and our cabin is surrounded by national forest for plenty of fall scenery. In the winter the leaves give way and reveal a completely different perspective with snow covered mountains at times. Important things we like to make clear to our guests: Getting to our cabin: the last 2.4 miles is a gravel road that winds through national forest. It is scenic and adds to the feeling of being secluded. It is maintained and does not require four wheel drive however cars with little ground clearance will need to take it a bit slower. Sometimes after hard rains there are some ruts in the road but nothing treacherous. Boat Ramp Access: the closest access is to walk out your front door and take a left. Turn right on the first gravel road (Timmy Circle) and head towards the lake. NOTE (access is not a concrete ramp but a gentle slope covered with stones and rock.) The boat access located at the cabin is better suited for smaller boats like john boats etc. There are a number of other options. Boat ramps are available at Morganton Point Recreation Area in Morganton. Other boat ramps are located at Lakewood Landing on Old Highway 76, Morganton, and Lake Blue Ridge Recreation Area, Aska Road. We recommend using Lakewood Landing Boat Launch located on the north side of the Lake or Morganton Point Recreation Area on the east side. Morganton Point is the least distance from our cabin and dock. Most of our guests who bring a boat put in at one of these points and then take it to our dock. Access to our dock: Our dock is located about 70 paces on a trail from the cabin. The last section before reaching the dock is down a gentle slope and there are a few steps going down. People who already have difficulty getting around may not be able to make it down to the dock as it is a trail and is not handicap accessible.

This cabin is on Lake Blue Ridge in Blue Ridge, Georgia about 5 minutes from downtown. It features a private dock on a quiet part of the lake. The lake is stupendous and there is far less boat traffic than on most lakes.( On a week day on this national forest side of the lake you will seldom see anyone.) It features a large dock with a covered boat slip. There is also an island that is within swimming distance that you can camp on! The water doesn’t get hot and is crystal clear. The dock and house are at lake level. There is no steep incline or countless steps to get to the water. The cabin is within the Aska Adventure Area which is a stupendously gorgeous area of high value properties along the Toccoa River (which feeds Lake Blue Ridge). There are countless things to do here but most like to meander down the river famous for its deep, cold places filled with trout! The house is surrounded by U.S. National Forest and the area features long walking trails into secluded and pristine areas. The cabin is located just 5 minutes from the quaint town of Blue Ridge (lots of cute shops and things to do there!). The roads to the house are paved until you arrive on the street which the cabin is located. The cabin is not located on steep grades and has plenty of parking. The property sits on one acre and is surrounded by well-manicured lawn and flowering trees. It has plenty of space to run or have lawn games. It has a small creek and fire pit. The huge wrap around top porch is safety gated to prevent children or pets from wandering unattended. It has two tables: one for casual dining and one for formal dining. There is constant visitation of song birds due to the placement of feeders. The porch is equipped with everything you need (including a propane grill and even dog bowls!) The view of the sprawling lawn and lake is gorgeous. The bottom porch has a seating area and a hot tub covered in beautiful redwood. The interior is lined only with pine tongue and groove (ceilings, floors, and walls) The floors are covered with thick, high quality rugs. It is tastefully decorated with a cabin ambiance and nice artwork. There are two gas log fireplaces. The bedding is of very high quality. We will do our best to get any repairs done as quickly as possible but cannot guarantee that if something in your cabin breaks it can be repaired during your stay. We strive to make your stay a pleasant one and will do everything in our control to correct any issues you may have as quickly as possible. Given the situation caused by the Coronavirus, many things are out of our control, therefore we will not issue refunds of any type due to the failure of hot tubs or appliances. These situations are rare but we have found that when they do happen, we are simply unable to get things replaced or repaired as fast as we could before COVID 19. Morganton Point Campground is around the corner, and has Ice, Firewood available. Gas Station and convenience store has supplies. Hiking trails, wineries a short drive down Hwy 60. Swinging Bridge Trail. Serenbery Winery. Only 6 miles to the shopping, Resturants, Blue Ridge Cellars -Tasting Room in downtown Blue Ridge. We will leave you some Coffee, Filters, Tea Bags and Creamers in cuboard. Electric Coffee, Coffee Press and Tea Pot, plus some paper goods, but you may want to bring some more if your staying more than 2 nights. We have a crockpot in kitchen, blender, toaster and all kitchen supplies. Bring your own BEACH towels-chairs.
